Thai Time is a tiny, stylishly decorated restaurant serving the best Thai is San Francisco’s Richmond district. We only have a handful of tables, and we are frequently crowded, with lines out the door. But that’s okay with us, and it will be for you as well, because a busy restaurant means fabulous food!
Our cuisine is absolutely bursting with fresh flavor. We use authentic ingredients and cooking styles, with traditional spices, seasonings, and sauces. Thai basil, lemongrass, garlic, kaffir lime leaves, chilies, turmeric, and curries are all heavily relied upon to create our awesome Thai food. The angel wing appetizer is absolutely heavenly. Chicken wings are stuffed with pork, black mushrooms, and silver noodles, then deep-fried to golden perfection. Or try the lumpini appetizer. We give you all of the ingredients you need to create a fabulous wrap with toasted coconut, dried prawns, ginger, lime, peanuts, onions, and fresh greens to roll it up in. Vegetarians have dozens of options to choose from, like yellow curry with tofu, or our hot and sour vegetable soup with mushrooms, lemongrass, and tofu. One of our most unique dishes is our sautéed jumbo prawns, calamari, scallops, mussels, and crab claws tossed with curry paste, silver noodles, cabbage, baby corn, carrots, and broccoli, and served in a clay pot.
We are open seven days a week, and are extremely popular for take-out orders. We also deliver to a large area, perfect for an easy meal after a busy day at work.
